Review : My Long Lasting Happy Brand

Skincare is everything for me. I love to try something new and wishing for the best effect result. Every-time I do traveling, I always bought makeups and skincare of local brand s that I used to have that were not available in Indonesia. However, I also buy the Indonesian brand and I found these ones are also good to be applied to my skin as the formula suitable in the tropical weather. And also the prices were cheaper than the imported brand.

I will share my review on one of my favorite local brands from Indonesia, Wardah. I already used this brand for more than 1 year. In this blog post, I’ll share my experience of using 3 products from Wardah, which are facial massage cream, compact powder and creamy body butter.

Wardah Essential Facial Massage Cream

Price : IDR 15,500 (around $1.6) per tube.
Contains : 60 ml
Ingredients : It contains a seaweed extract.
Description : The texture is so delicate with a shooting aroma. These help to soften and moisturize skin.
How to use : I use to apply onto face and neck after being cleansed with cleansing cream and cleansing lotion. While applying, I massage the skin gently with a circular motion for 15 minutes. After 15 mins, let the cream be absorbed naturally for about another 10-15 mins.
Effects : I feel my skin face looks glowing and very moisturized.
When to use : Twice a week (every Wednesday and Sunday.

Wardah Creamy Body Butter

Price : IDR 18,000 (around $2) per bottle
Contains : 50 ml
Ingredients : It contains Olive Oil, Shea butter and Vitamin E.
Description : The cream texture is thick enough but it gives the fresh effect after application. Even-though, it is thick, the cream can easily spread in the skin and absorb through the skin.
How to use : Just apply all over the body skin after take a shower.
Effects : My skin is so sensitive with any cream or lotion. This cream is great for around 2 days. My skin became soft and moisturized. However, after 2 days, my skin became rough. So, I decided to use this cream as my hand lotion.
When to use : Everyday

Wardah Lightening Two Way Cake

Price : IDR 50,000 (around $5) per pack
Ingredients : SPF 15, microcoated particles and UV protection
Description : It is the blend of powder and foundation with microcoated particle, SPF 15, oil control and Licorice extract. This compact powder can give the light effect without the heavy makeup feeling result.
How to use : Apply the compact powder after put the moisturizer in my face. I used to apply it after I put the serum and BB cream.
Effects : It able to give my skin full coverage and also can brighten the skin. But it still gives the natural effect. I love this compact powder because it is really easy to apply to my face skin and it still covered well when I am in outdoor. And it is one of the long lasting make up.
When to use : Everyday

I love this brand because the price is really compromised and the product itself usually finish after about 2 months usage. So, it is really economist. I can save my money for traveling then.
