On my last weekend, my friend and I searched through the cosmetic stores for hours to browse the skincare and cosmetics to try. Actually, we have the regular skincare that we always use for daily basis as well as the cosmetics. However, I, personally, love to try another products in order to have better skin results and also get a glowing skin. We visited each brand display just to see the whole product ranges and we still didn’t know the benefits that we will get after use for some products. There were just too much product ranges and I think that we won’t apply those less important products for daily use as it will take for hours just to do makeup before work or go to school or university. The needs for each product is gonna be different based on our requirements.

The skincare has the same needs as the cosmetics for me. Because, I will get the best results of makeup, if we have the healthy and moisturized skin as the base before applying any makeup. When I get into the display rack of mask, my eyes get distracted with the snail illustration in the mask sheet packaging. My first impression is this mask contains the disgusting ingredients to be applied in the skin on a weekly basis. But, I know that the skincare product that contains snail mucus extract is very popular in recent days because of the after use effects. Some people said that the snail mucus extract is very good for moisturizing the skin perfectly.

Eventhough, the snail ingredient is very strange and unbelievable element to be applied in any skincare, there are some benefits that you can find for the products that contain snail.

My First Impression

Honestly, when I saw the illustration in the package, I thought that I have to put the real snail in my face and leave it there for minutes. But, I believe that the snail mucus extract will be proceed well as it is a well-known brand from Korea, the SAEM.

Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Snail Secretion Filtrate, PEG-75, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, PEG-50 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Chlorphenesin, Glycyrrhiza (Licorice) Root Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Schizandra Chinensis Fruit Extract, Coptis Japnica Root Extract, Cingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract, Camellia Sinesis Leaf Extract, Fragrance.

This mask sheet that contains the snail mucus extract has the benefit to prevent and reduce wrinkles on the skin.

How to Use

These are the steps to use the Pure Natural Mask Sheet SNAIL to get the best result for the skin. These are also my favorite steps during my skincare routine on the weekend.

1. Clean the face with the cleansing lotion or micellar water.
2. Continue to wash the face with the cleansing foam or cleansing oil.
3. Scrub or peeling the facial skin for extra skincare treatment. And this would be my favorite way before putting the mask sheet on.
4. Spread the facial toner through out the facial skin.
5. Put the mask sheet in the face and leave it there for about 20 to 25 minutes. In order to make sure the rest of essence be absorbed into the skin, pat the mask smoothly.

How does it feels?

During the masking process, I feel my skin a bit sore. But it only took for 1 – 2 minutes. After 25 minutes application, I feel my skin very fresh and it was also brighter and glowing.

Packaging

It is packaged in the single pouch that contains one sheet in a package. The packaging is very solid that made from the medium thickness of material. It made the snail essence wont split out of the package.

How much does it cost?

It costs me IDR 29,000 (around U$ 3) per package. By looking at the results, I can’t say that the price is expensive.

We can’t argue anymore if anyone say that the snail extract is very disgusting. This was my thought previously. But after applying throughout my face, I will say in reverse.
