Do you use the toner as a cleanser or as a part of skin treatment? Both of them are very useful to treat the skin to be healthy and moisturized. However, the toner as the skincare treatment will have the different result with the toner with the function to clean the facial skin.
Based on my experience in using the facial toner, I usually use it as a cleanser because I like to have my skin clean enough before doing the skincare routine every morning and every night. The skincare ingredients will be well-absorbed in the clean skin. I have tried the toner as a part of skincare routine as well, but it is the different type of toner and it gave the glowing and very moisturized skin result. I like to use both types of toner though as both of them can make my skin moistuirize, healthy and clean.
These are the different elements between the toner to treat the skin and the toner as the cleanser according to my experience.
The toner as the skincare routine VS as the cleanser
- The toner for skincare usually have the thicker texture than the toner for cleansing the skin. As a cleanser, the water-based ingredient will be the best choice of toner.
- The feel of the skin after usage also different. As the cleanser toner, it usually leave the fresh result and less moisturized feeling. On the other hand, the skincare treatment toner give an extra moisturized effect with the chewy feeling of the skin.
- The cleanser toner dry faster than the skincare toner.
- The glowing result will be produced from the skincare toner and the fresh result comes from the cleanser toner.
