Reduce the Use of Skincare Products to Solve the Skin Saturation. Agree?

Stop using skincare products for some period might be the solution for diminishing the acne on our facial skin. Is that true?

This post is based on my real life story that is happened on my facial skin. I used to do the 10 steps Korean skincare routine and in some period I feel that my skin becomes glowing, brightened, fresh and healthy. I used to do this for more than a year. And I feel very satisfied and keep continue until 2 weeks ago.

What was happening?

Even though I do the skincare routine every morning and every night with those 10 steps Korean, my facial skin didn’t have the glowing effect like I had previously and acne are appeared in some spots in my face. I thought that my skin was rejecting one of my makeup or skincare products. Then, I tried to do some treatment for acne and also putting the facial mask regularly to dry my acne as well as to get my glowing skin back. However, it didn’t work.

What is actually happened?

I, personally, don’t know what is actually happened theoretically. However, my conclusion would be the facial skin becomes saturated with the regular skincare products, which won’t absorbed formula properly like the previous period.

What did I do?

I stop to use the skincare products, which is called “Puasa Skincare” in Indonesia. It is the activity of not using skincare products, such as facial essence, facial toner, moisturizer, night cream, BB / CC / DD cream, and other products. However, I don’t totally stop the whole skincare routine, which I couldn’t do it. I reduce the skincare products during the daytime for some period and still use the same skincare products for a night time.

What is the Result?

I know that was shocking to cut some skincare steps, which I usually do those steps every day. At first, I couldn’t do it but finally I can do it. The result is very amazing. My skin becomes even, more moisturized, more healthy and the acne have also disappeared. I also feel my skin more chewy. Then, I decided to reduce the skincare routine for the day time to safe my skin health from the saturation. This activity is worked for some period until my skin get back to normal condition.
