Weather or climate can be one of the factors that influence us to have a holiday in the desired countries or cities or even for a long-term staying purpose. Maybe it does not seem very important but it is! People can change their destinations because of they cannot stand the weather. Or they need the guidance for the weather because they must to do some packaging prior traveling.

This article is the continued article that I wrote in my previous posts about Estonia. As I haven’t visit Estonia yet, I gather the information about the weather from Study in Estonia website and also from other sources. I put the links at the end of the article. In here, I can get the important and detail information for preparing myself physically before go to Estonia.

Before going to the country, I usually get the information about season time, which are summer, winter, autumn and spring. And also about the degrees’ information. After gathering those information, then I continue to search the best month to go to the country of destination.

Ok, let’s talk about Estonia. This is the interesting part for me. Estonia has 5 seasons in a year! Those are summer, winter, autumn, spring and flood. Actually, the 5th season, which is flood, occurs nearly every year in Sooma National Park and usually in late March and early April. This is the reason why local people call flood as the 5th season. As stated in Europea.org, this floods in Sooma are the combined result of the flat relief, small height differences in the lower reaches of the rivers and small streams discharging the water close together.

The Best Time to Visit Estonia

According to those climates in every season, the are two specific months that can be said as the best month to visit Estonia for holiday. The first best months would be during the summer time, which are on June to August. The temperatures are still comfortable and the days long with light.

The second and third best months for visit are during late spring (April to May) and during early autumn (September to October). The weather are still warm but as time goes by during October, the peak tourist season is decrease a little.

I prefer to go to Estonia during the summer time, because the weather is still warm and I can go to Estonia’s festivals, which will be happened during this season. Do you have any other inputs? Please share ….
